WHAT IS YOUR CORE FUNCTION? In my role as PDO-DRM/EMS I provide technical and operational support to the execution of all projects and initiatives implemented. On a daily basis I can be found attending meetings, making presentations, coordinating emergency activities for national and state events, collaborating with health partners in an effort to achieve targets for Climate Change and Adaptation and an overall strong and resilient public health system.

MY VISION FOR THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & WELLNESS IS: fostering a resilient health system through effective and efficient policy formulation, resource mobilization, and an energized and motivated workforce.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT YOUR JOB: I am an adventurous and sociable person therefore conducting field work and visiting health facilities and project sites Island wide allows me to simultaneously enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each parish, meet and network with new people in all sectors while helping to improve the health outcomes for all.
